The stadiums
Morocco hosts its 2030 matches in six cities, from the Strait of Gibraltar to the Atlantic south. Here is where each stadium is and how to plan your day.
Match dates, venues and kick-off times are set by the organisers. Check the official tournament channels before you book travel, and buy tickets only from the official ticketing platform.
Grand Stade Hassan II · Casablanca
A new stadium built outside the city, between Casablanca and Rabat, designed to be one of the largest in the world. It is the furthest venue from a city centre, so the trip there is part of the day: plan the official shuttles or trains as soon as they are announced, and expect a long exit after the final whistle.
Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium · Rabat
Rebuilt as a football-only stadium in the green Souissi district, south of the centre. Rabat's tram and blue petit taxis cover the city, and Rabat Agdal station (Al Boraq high-speed trains) is close by.
Grand Stade de Marrakech
On the edge of the city, a taxi ride from the medina and Gueliz. Summer evenings stay hot: bring water and plan your ride back before kick-off.
Fès Stadium
In the modern city, away from the medina. Leave the old town early, because walking out to a taxi gate takes time and taxis get scarce close to kick-off.
Grand Stade de Tanger (Ibn Batouta)
On the south-west side of the city, on the road to Rabat. Fans coming over from Spain for the day should check the last ferry back before the match.
Grand Stade d'Agadir (Adrar)
On the outskirts of Morocco's beach city, a taxi ride from the seafront hotels. There is no train to Agadir: come by plane, or by coach from Marrakech.
On every match day
- Arrive early: security checks and crowds take time.
- Carry water, sunscreen and a cap for afternoon matches; a light layer for late ones on the coast.
- Keep your phone charged with your ticket, your hotel address and an offline map.
- Agree how your group meets up if you get separated, as mobile networks get busy around stadiums.
